There are few other places on earth where flowers are so all pervasive, so varied and as sumptuous as in southwest Western Australia. It is one of 39 special places in the world, named International Biodiversity Hotspots, where there have been explosions of evolution—veritable cauldrons of species making.I went to the launch of this book a couple of nights ago. These are remarkable images and for those of you who have thought ‘why the fuss’ about WA wildflowers this really shows why. A real step forward in wildflower photography.

This post is on Culturally Sensitive Photography
Bhutanese people are really friendly and open. They enjoy sharing their culture and are generally happy to be photographed. In the excitement of seeing such rich beauty it can sometimes be difficult to keep from crossing the line into being intrusive or even rude.
Here are a few guidelines for not wearing out the welcome. (follow link to read this post)

Young people are always in a rush and so full of life.
Once they get middle age, pace slows down.
And when comes the old age, they are nearly still.”
