This kind of stuff keeps popping up, and things never change. Of course, to a large extent this simply is because people keep buying those magazines. As long as people literally buy into this business it’s not going to change. In other words, unless there is a large-scale boycott of magazines, unless thousands and thousands of their subscribers cancel their subscription, this ridiculous Photoshopping will continue (and putting a single, small photo of a normal woman on page 193 doesn’t change a thing - that’s like eating junk food all day long and then making a big fuss about the single piece of lettuce - hey, it’s healthy! - in the giant burger).
