link the black snapper recently had images from Grigoriy Yaroshenko which I looked at before spending most of a day taking photos in Sydney. I often struggle to make images at home and Sydney still is kind of home after 30 years in Perth and looking at inspiring images just before heading out seemed to help. Now to try the same in Perth. To me Sydney is characterised by a warm very contrasty light, moody and engaging, something Trent Parke (wiki) (heres a gallery) really captured in his Sydney images.
