(always) Learning to See ...

I unexpectedly stumbled across this flying fox close to the opera house while walking in sydney. They seem to feast on the morten-bay fig trees fruit and look fantastic against the sky at dusk but this is the first time I have seen one close to the ground. The hooks on their arm/wings are especially wonderful.
