link two images from Reuters Photos of the Decade via the Australian site. Worth a look and a think. Very strong pictures that speak powerfully and ‘save a lot of words’, but sometimes you wonder would the many saved words have made us think more deeply or just re-inforced view points……a powerful image certainly appears to capture “the essence” but may do so by constructing and reducing…. look at the series, I find them very interesting.
