link two images from Reuters Photos of the Decade via the Australian site. Worth a look and a think. Very strong pictures that speak powerfully and ‘save a lot of words’, but sometimes you wonder would the many saved words have made us think more deeply or just re-inforced view points……a powerful image certainly appears to capture “the essence” but may do so by constructing and reducing…. look at the series, I find them very interesting. (thanks Michael)

Mr Murdoch’s Australian Galleries also include series on Miss Universe 2010, Pirelli Calendar 2010 and Victoria’s Secret Models Shine(53 images!) alongside Forbes Most Powerful List….coming in at number 7 Mr Murdoch (and at 5 the google guys)

About

A photography blog by Robert van Koesveld around learning to see as a photographer: with my own images and process as well as whatever I think inspires, informs, extends or challenges in the struggle to learn to see. There are two supplementary blogs; LTS2 for photography and LTS3 for other Art. The links are at the top above this. They are a place to display others work that I find inspirational and that I want to refer back to. Comments are welcome use 'click to comment' or email me here:
