Yemen 10  This is the first of a sub series of 5 images of petrol stations in the landscape in Yemen. I was really taken by the sculptural power of these very basic buildings with their paradoxical aesthetic.
I gather fuel is heavily subsidized in Yemen and the country is an importer of oil despite its own lack of financial wealth.
