There are few other places on earth where flowers are so all pervasive, so varied and as sumptuous as in southwest Western Australia. It is one of 39 special places in the world, named International Biodiversity Hotspots, where there have been explosions of evolution—veritable cauldrons of species making.I went to the launch of this book a couple of nights ago. These are remarkable images and for those of you who have thought ‘why the fuss’ about WA wildflowers this really shows why. A real step forward in wildflower photography.
