W/E reblog Here is an image from my other blog on my robertvankoesveld.com site. Its part of a photo story about the little temple in the village of Lie Yo Mun in Hong Kong. The click through will take you there as well.
Incidentally this image was taken at iso 12800 in my new Canon 5Diii. It is noisy but then again in the darkness of the temple interior I would probably not have any images without it. I will put the iso’s up with the rest of the images made on the same camera on the post.

HKPOV 15 I love how the architects failure to push the rectangular pattern thing far enough has been rectified by what looks like a failed billboard and an inspired electrician.

HKPOV 12 my point of view an overhead foot bridge. Notice the little feng shui mirror beneath the third window from the right. I am really attracted to the older HK buildings but vantage points that are square on are remarkably hard to find. X100

HKPOV 10 My POV (point of view) was through a window of the abandoned house, after peeling back some wire and finding a way of pointing my camera through the bars. Something strong about the ancestral images and the quality of a once proud home among the dust and junk. Hong Kong. Thanks again Jackie. I do recommend her photography and walking tours if you have a day or so spare in Hong Kong.

HKPOV 08 Another interior detail. Amazing to find these bowls in an abandoned building sweetly lit by the light through the small and dusty windows. Hong Kong
