(RvK) sydney sets #4
(RvK) sydney sets #1 yesterday was a reunion of the class of 69, the first I have attended, which began with a tour of the school which on the surface (in the terms of the quote that precedes this group of images) looked like nothing had changed in 40 odd years. We were told the concern for ecology/global warming was strong among some students and I took it the poster about wearing shorts was focused on reducing CO2. Our antiwar (vietnam) posters were not left up as I recall.
One big change is the cultural mix at the school, in my time it was a handful of mostly european migrants alongside 85% white australian/british stock. This is reversed now with 85% asian students at the school which remains a boys only ‘selective’ government school.
